Why Terminal Stops?

The last stop on a subway line often gets overlooked.
It’s just where the train turns around — but look closer, and you’ll find something more.

The End of the Line started as a personal project to explore those forgotten endpoints.

Now, it’s grown into a visual archive of subway terminals — beginning in NYC, expanding soon to other cities around the world.

Each post is grounded in three things:

A real subway terminal

Only end-of-line stops allowed

Original photography

Platforms, tracks, neighborhoods

A simple story

What it looks and feels like to arrive there

We’re here to capture where the tracks end — and where something else begins.
